Quatre Bouches was formed in 2005. Its four singers are active as soloists, chamber musicians and/or ensemble singers at home and abroad.The quartet has collaborated with various pianists, including Dante Boon, Daniël Kramer, Mirsa Adami, Abigail Richards and Henry Kelder and has participated in workshops given by Hein Meens, Claron McFadden and Marcel Reijans.

Quatre Bouches focusses on a pleasant, appealing and sometimes humorous programming, which places particular emphasis on the music of the 19th,
20th and 21st centuries. Experiments with other art forms are also not shunned.
